Katie's Sweat Shop is conveniently located in downtown Mooresville at 156 N. Broad St. and offers personal training as well as small-group fitness classes. Classes include yoga, Zumba, cardio, and strength.
Katie's Sweat Shop offers Certified Personal Training and Menopause Fitness Specialization. Consultations are FREE so contact Katie today to schedule one.
Privately owned and operated there are no joining or membership fees. Smaller class sizes allow for regular participants to offer support and build friendships. It also means that it will notice when you're not in class and we will reach out to you. This doesn't happen at those larger gyms!
The first class is FREE which means there is nothing to lose but much to be gained. All fitness levels are welcome to all classes. Equipment is provided but feels free to bring your own if you prefer. Class schedules and descriptions can be found on the group fitness page. Walk-ins are welcome but pre-registration is encouraged and will ensure you have a spot since space is limited.
Small Group Fitness
If you like the company of others and enjoy fun, energizing workouts then Katie's Sweat Shop has classes for you. All fitness levels are welcome to each class and modifications are provided. Each participant is encouraged to bring water and a yoga mat. Punch cards good for 10 classes are available for purchase for either the Strength & Toning Classes or Yoga Classes. Strength & Toning Classes
These classes consist of exercises combining dumbbells, strength equipment, and bodyweight for a full-body workout resulting in a stronger, leaner more tone body. All equipment is provided but feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you prefer.
Power Flow Plus
Vinyasa style class designed around all levels with a basic understanding of yoga. Modifications can be made to allow the student to make it their own practice. This class will build heat and strength through movement and breath with a combination of holds and movement of both standing and seated postures. Sure to build up a sweat.
Slow Flow Level 1
This Vinyasa style class will get your heart beating as movements will be fast paced. Focus will be on strengthening and lengthening muscles to increase flexibility and balance. This is an intermediate to advanced level class.
Slow Flow Stretch and Restore
For the athlete or client who wants time to slow down. Class will start with a standing easy movement vinyasa flow followed by seated deep stretches to restore and hold postures and passive stretches for longer periods of time.

Cardio and Core Classes
This is a fun, energetic workout guaranteed to burn major calories! Keep the impact low, crank it up to high, or somewhere in between. The choice is yours and options will be shown for all fitness levels. Cardio is followed by 15 - 20 minutes of core work, focused on strengthening abs and flattening bellies!
